"This is an old Made In Austria / Austrian souvenir tray from
Henniker, New Hampshire / NM measuring 5 3/4" long x 4 1/2"
wide. Tray depicts a view of "Proctor Hill Henniker N. H.
Birthplace or Edna Dean Proctor". Henniker, a small town in New
Hampshire is / was home and or birthpalce to several well-known folks,
including Edna Dean Proctor, nationally-known poetess; Amy Cheney Beach,
pianist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and composer; James W.
Patterson, educator; and Ted Williams, baseball player with the Boston

Piece is marked in gold on the back "B.F.H.S. China Made In Austria
for Huntoon & Preston, Henniker, N.H.". Item is in excellent
condition with no chips or cracks." There is no other
Huntoon known to be in Henniker NH.Henniker is in western
Merrimack County about due west of Concord NH, southwest of Salisbury NH
where his Huntoon ancestors were buried, and to the southeast of Unity
NH.
