I'm including some information on books and data I've found really useful in working on Huntoon and other families in New Hampshire. Look in the list on the left. Kathy Beals' unique work Early Families of Unity, New Hampshire about the families that settled Unity, is really indispensible if your Huntoon ancestors lived in Unity. Her companion work, Cemeteries of Unity, New Hampshire is very useful if you are going there, or trying to find family associations. My own first interest is in East Unity Cemetery (see sidebar). Click on the list to the left to go to a description and order form you can print out to obtain the soft-cover books. Allan Abrahamse's new work "Colonial Huntoons: The First Five Generations of the Descendants of Philip Huntoon" is available in paper form from him and on the internet at http://www.abrahamse.org/huntoon/Book1/ Or click on the list to the left to go to the address for ordering a written copy. (first draft, October 2000). Allan Abrahamse's other work "The Descendents of Isaac Farwell Huntoon of Claremont, New Hampshire, Clarendon, New York, and Leslie, Michigan, 1792-1869 documents his branch of the Huntoons of New Hampshire that settled in Michigan. (first draft, February 2000). That work is on the web at http://home.att.net/~allanabr/ . I have included work of others at various points in my internet site. They are identified with e-mail or snail mail addresses at the point where they are used.
