Harvey (Nathaniel,⁴ Charles,³ John,² Philip¹), b. Nov. 10, 1800, at Unity; m. July 5, 1831, Maria P., dau. of Ichabod and Polly (Bailey) Morse, b. at Newport, April 25, 1813, d. Mr. Huntoon resided on the farm where he was born for seventy-eight years. He has been town Representative, High Sheriff of Sullivan County, Railroad Commissioner, member of the Constitutional Convention, and held a justice commission for fifty years. He now resides at Newport, N. H.

     i      Reuel, b. July 1, 1832; d. Sept. 17, 1863; m. Nov. 21,1861, Susan E., dau. of Philemon R. and Mary (Wilkins) Russell, b. Sept. 10, 1837, d. May 30, 1875. In 1862 he enlisted as corporal In Company B, 16th Regiment, N. H. V.; sergeant, July 7, 1863; mustered out, Oct. 20, 1863. During the greater part of his service he was attached to General Banks’s headquarters at New Orleans. He left one son, George Hallett, b. Feb. 21, 1863, d. Jan 22, 1869.
