Lewis (Josiah,⁴ Charles,³ John,² Philip¹), b. Aug. 28, 1794; m. (1) May 18, 1817, Eliza, dau. of Dudley and Alice (Ford) Haines, b. July 17, 1800, d. Sept. 13, 1830; (2) July 4, 1835, Margaret Richards of East Livermore, Me. He is sometimes styled Colonel. He joined Captain Bellows’s company in 1814, then hailing from Charlestown.
