Joseph Swett (Daniel,4 Daniel,3 John,2 Philip1), b. December, 1792; d. Nov. 22, 1833; m. (i) Abigail Eaton, of Salisbury, Dec. 24, 1818, d. Dec. 4, 1825; (2) September, 1827, Sally Brown, of Andover. He was a member of Captain Bean’s company in 1812, and after wards Colonel of the 21st Regiment N. H. M.

From the Abbe-Abbey Genealogy, p. 114:  Sally Brown was daughter of Lt. Moses Brown and wife Abigail True.   Moses Brown was son of  Captain Joseph and Ann Brown of Kensington, N. H., born December 9, 1763; died in Andover, February 23, 1831.  Moses Brown settled on Beech Hill in Andover, before 1790, and was known as Lieutenant Moses Brown.  Married December 1, 1788, Abigail True,  born October 23, 1763; died in Andover, October 28, 1842. She was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Clough) True of Seabrook.
