Enoch (Joseph,³ John,² Philip¹), b. April 21, 1776; m. Sally Cutts. He was a physician, and lived at Palermo, Me.   

Harry Huntoon's note (7/1/2001):  Enoch may have been a physician at Palermo, Maine as Daniel T V Huntoon says, but it appears he probably was living at age 75 (born in N.H.) with a son, E. C.  Huntoon (age 35, born in Maine) who is landlord of a hotel in Aroura, Kane County, Illinois as of the 1850 census (Roll 112, Page 188).  Enoch is listed with Sarah, age 68, born in Maine, and Melvina, age 42 born in Maine.  Also listed: Joseph Huntoon, age 35, a mason.

  i      Edward Cullen.   E. D. Huntoon, living as landlord of hotel at Aroura, Kane County, Illinois with property value $4,000 in 1850 census (Roll 112, Page 187). Born in Maine aged 45 (handwriting poor).  Family includes (1) Anna Huntoon, F, 35, born New Hampshire (2) Harvey Huntoon, M, 9 born Illinois, and (3) Josephine Huntoon, F, age 1.

 ii      Joseph P.  Joseph Huntoon, living as mason at Aroura, Kane County, Illinois in 1850 census (Roll 112, Page 187).  $4,000 property value, same as brother listed with him.  Born in Maine, aged 35.  Living in hotel with E D Huntoon, and Enoch Huntoon. 

iii     Harvey.

 iv    Melvina.  Melvina living in 1850 with Enoch Huntoon and Sarah.  No spouse or children listed with her.
